In addition to his role as management consultant at Wright and Co Gavin Racz is currently the lead analyst at a think-tank providing research and advisory on emerging technologies to fortune 100 companies. He lives in New York City and is in training for his first Ironman triathlon.
Raised in Saudi Arabia by Hungarian parents, Gavin earned his MBA at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL during which time he won multiple business pitch competitions and founded his first company, Astrolet – a social product for teens to connect and gauge their daily friendship coefficient via a proprietary algorithm. From here Gavin went into financial services, working at Goldman Sachs as a senior analyst then at Schonfeld Securities as an equities trader. Gavin then launched his own futures and options trading fund – Razz Twin Capital which he managed for 6 years, simultaneously founding and operating New York States only USDA certified organic restaurant – Full House Organic. From here, Gavin pivoted his career becoming the global head of sales at TrueRisk Labs – a data sciences company using artificial intelligence and machine learning models to predict price and volatility movements on Russell 2000 equities. After selling data to some of the world’s largest quantitative funds, Gavin took a position as the head of business development at Liquidity Digital – a Fintech startup which utilized blockchain technology to provide efficiencies to private capital markets. During this time, Gavin acted as lead broker for numerous private capital transactions across emerging technologies including space-technology and renewable energy.
